Grating for Use in Industrial Projects
We produce steel grating for use in industrial projects.
– Our offer for your industrial projects includes grating of different standard sizes, with nominal distance 33 mm between bearing bars.
– Height and thickness of a bearing bar in grating is designed taking into account the value and type of loading and can be from 20 x 1.5 mm to 100 x 5 mm.
– The sag of the grating under loading can’t exceed 1/200 of the distance between bearings. For pedestrian areas this value can’t exceed 4 mm.
– Calculation of the sag is made based on the concentrated load Fp, acting in the middle of the grating on the conventional area of 200×200 mm., as well as based on the FV load distributed per 1 square meter.
Maximum dimension of the steel grating is 3000 х 1200 mm where 1200 mm is the technological limit.
We do not recommend the use of square panels. When laying a metal grating, the overhang of the cantilevered sections by more than 300 mm is not allowed. If possible, the width of the support part should be equal to the height of the metal grating, but it must be at least 30 mm.
If the distance between the grating and the nearest obstacle is more than 50 mm, but less than 300 mm, the framing strip from the obstacle side is replaced by a 150-180 mm protective floor plate. When the distance is more than 300 mm, the additional installation of handrails and a protective floor plate is required.
In the case of passage through the grating floor of pipelines or equipment, the distance between the grating and the pipeline or equipment should be 50 mm. (taking into account movement and isolation), unless otherwise provided by the project.
In the case of passing through the grating of pipelines or equipment with a diameter of more than 250 mm., the guard floor plate shall protrude above the metal grating by 50 mm. We can do orders with HDG coating, powder coating or without protective coating.

Quality management system
The production unit in Sarny supports ISO 9001:2015 quality assurance system.
Welding production is certified according ISO 3834-2. According to the received ISO 3834-2 certificate, we use welding processes 111, 121, 135. We are certified to work with raw materials which belong to groups 1.1, 1.2 (ISO/TR 15608).
The Factory production control (FPC) system of our production unit is certified according EN 1090 1,2 , EXC 3. We have a right to export CE marked steel structures for EU customers.
The quality control department is headed by the specialist with International Welding Inspector qualification.
Visual and Ultra – sound types of NDT are used during the production process. The control of zinc coating after HDG is provided in accordance with ISO 1461:2009.
